about HEARST DIGITAL MEDIA:

A unit of Hearst Magazines, Hearst Digital Media, is home to a powerful portfolio of brands. The brands run content on iconic industry-leading fashion and lifestyle properties to some of the fastest-growing voices in food and commerce.

HEARST - OTT

OTT PARTNERSHIPS:
Over some time, I had transitioned into a new team at Heart Digital where we focused our efforts on expanding the audience of our brands. As a video editor and producer, my main role was to use content we already had and re-package it for Over-The-Top platforms (such as PlutoTV, VUDU, Amazon Prime Video, etc.).
Since, these partners usually ran long-form content, it was my job to further produce and edit our content to elongate it and amalgamate it to become long-form content. This took a lot of skill in production, motion graphics, video editing, and pure creative thinking.
These videos shown above are examples of opening credits and trailers I created to establish the identity of the short-form content being delivered as a long-form television show.

HEARST - VELOCITY VIDEO
velocity style video for social:
The bulk of the work I produced for Hearst was editing short-form video for social media publications. Secondarily, the videos also accompanied corresponding articles on the brand's websites. The videos used a lot of motion graphics, sourced footage, and were often based on pop culture stories and current events. They were heavily monetized via social media.

I had to produce and shoot some for these videos, as well. There were often quick turn-around for these, since a lot of the stories were time-sensitive. These were also shared via social media.
