I worked as an employee at Instacart, a company set out to revolutionize the grocery industry by providing a more convenient and accessible way of shopping for food with the mission to bring time and quality of life back to people's lives.
Both videos are portraits of real members of the Instacart community: shoppers that work on the platform and the customers whom use the service. Each video shows the way Instacart can improve the lives of both shoppers and customers, and focusing on what makes Instacart stand out: the human factor.
I had a hand in each stage of production for all the video projects for Instacart. I initiated and scouted for the story and concept for the shopper portraits, shot them, and edited them for external distribution. The pre-production for the community portrait was a collaborative effort; for production, I assisted on camerawork, on-set audio, and directing; moreover, I handled post-production by editing the video, creating motion graphics, and editing the sound.

Service confirmation banner campaign:
This ad campaign was aimed less at our brand and aimed more in confirming our services and was a visual gateway attracting and leading viewers to the website.
I was provided with dimensions, photos, a color palette, and some illustrations to work with. I designed the composition and layout for the ads, illustrated more fruits and vegetables, and articulated a visual theme throughout the banner campaign. Though, the campaign's focus was towards the explanation of our service, I still decided to evoke elements of the company brand: natural, freshness, community values, and convenience.
